CROSSLOCK is a two-layer alignment bench for producers stacking kick with sub, sharpening layered snares, or tightening parallel drums. Load two local files or use the built-in source stack, isolate the event, then drag the amber layer across the cyan datum until the transient and phase relationship land where intended.
The instrument keeps the operation narrow: sample timing, polarity, layer weight, spectral role, and restrained summing glue. Three starting states cover low-end lock, snare snap, and break tightening. Raw/aligned audition stays on the same transport phase, so a timing decision can be heard without losing the loop.
Export uses the same deterministic renderer as audition and writes a stereo 48 kHz PCM WAV ready for Ableton. Exact recipe state can be copied and restored without retaining local audio files.
