CUTLATTICE: Reassemble the Break

Assign eight source cuts across sixteen tiles, shape the impact, and export the exact loop you auditioned.

CUTLATTICE is a one-bar break reassembler for producers who want a new drum phrase without losing the grain of the original loop. Load local audio or use the built-in dry break, then assign eight source cuts across a sixteen-tile lattice.

Each tile owns the decisions that matter: source cut, rest/hit/accent weight, forward or reverse direction, and octave register. Swing shifts the pocket. Bite reshapes the transient. Crush roughens the body. Room adds a short, controlled tail. The fixed character stays dry and hard-edged rather than laundering every break through generic synth gloss.

Three starting jobs cover UKG skips, jungle chops, and halftime fills. BPM remains session-global when recipes change. Playback persists until stopped, live edits enter at the next bar boundary, and the raw/cut switch stays phase-locked. WAV export uses the same deterministic renderer as audition and prints stereo 48 kHz float audio for Ableton.
