ORBITKNIFE is a spatial-throw designer for producers shaping movement around a vocal fragment, chord stab, percussion fill, or the built-in fixture. Drag eight points directly through the listening field. The vertical axis controls perceived distance; the horizontal axis cuts across the stereo image.
The instrument keeps a clean, filtered echo character. You own the trajectory, trail count, spacing, fade, shade, diffusion, and wet balance. Knife pass, halo orbit, and snapback recipes cover hard stereo fills, circular clouds, and movement that returns to center without reducing the path to a preset lottery.
Source audition and processed playback stay native in the browser. Export uses the same deterministic renderer as audition, producing a stereo 44.1 kHz, 16-bit PCM WAV ready for Ableton. Local audio stays local.
