SHUTTER is a spectral gate painter for producers shaping speed-garage pumps, DnB bass chatter, and dub-techno pulses. Paint amplitude vertically across sixteen steps, then paint each step toward low or high frequency emphasis.
Its fixed source is a bruised minor chord. The authored processing stays narrow: tempo-locked dual-band gating, controllable edges, restrained overlap, and saturation. Rhythm, depth, spectral movement, swing, crossover, smear, and drive remain directly owned by the producer rather than buried behind a generic modulation rack.
Wet/raw audition uses the same deterministic renderer as export. Three job shapes provide useful starting structures, BPM survives recipe changes, and exact state can be copied for recall. The result is a stereo 48 kHz PCM WAV ready for Ableton, resampling, or another abuse pass.
