PHASECUT is a dual-deck transition forge for bass-music producers and DJs who want to design the handover before committing it to an arrangement or set edit. Load two local sounds or use the built-in neuro and garage fixtures, then draw the deck share across sixteen half-bar cells. A second curve controls the spectral aperture through the same phrase.
The bass handover has its own cell because low-end custody is the consequential decision in a transition. Incoming-deck phase, echo throw, pressure, and stereo field complete the shape without pretending to replace a DJ deck. Three starting jobs cover a long dissolve, a guillotine bass swap, and a fakeout with re-entry.
Run the designed transition against a phase-preserving hard cut, change material while it plays, and export the exact designed state as stereo 48 kHz PCM WAV. The result drops into Ableton as a transition print or DJ edit stem.
